The winning ways continued for players trusting Titleist on the Worldwide Professional Golf Tours this weekend, as five players around the globe entered the Winner's Circle. This week, Paul Casey successfully defended his title at the Valspar Championship, leading a group of four other players who trusted Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x to claim wins on the European, LPGA, Web.com and South African tours.
So far in 2019, players trusting their games to a Titleist golf ball have now collected 35 wins across the worldwide professional tours. That's more than three times the nearest competing brand with just 11 and more than all competing brands combined.
Let’s take a closer look at this past week’s Titleist tour highlights…

Paul Casey | Pro V1 - Valspar Championship
Paul Casey (Pro V1) became the first back-to-back winner of the Valspar Championship on Sunday, posting a one-shot victory over Jason Kokrak (Pro V1) and Louis Oosthuizen (Pro V1x).
Casey shot a final round of even-par 72 on the challenging Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort to finish with an 8-under-par 276 total. The performance marks the third PGA Tour victory for the Englishman to go with his 14 international title and his WGC World Cup victory in 2004 with his partner, Luke Donald.
Bubba Watson (New 2019 Pro V1x Yellow) and Sungjae Im [New 2019 Pro V1x, TS3 (9.5°) driver, TS3 (15°) fairway metal, 718 AP2 (3-9) irons, Vokey Design gap (52.12 F grind), sand (56.08 M grind) and lob (60.06 K grind) wedges, Scotty Cameron 009M putter] tied for 4th, another shot back.
Watson tied for the lowest round of the final day with a 68.
Ten of the 12 players who finished among the Top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success, including each of the top five (5).
Casey switched back to the Titleist golf ball at the 2017 Sony Open when he was ranked 16th in the OWGR. He will enter next week’s WGC-Match Play at No. 11.
Paul Casey on Why He Plays the Pro V1 Golf Ball:
"The Pro V1 proves itself everywhere and it has to. You can't have a weakness. For me this is my livelihood. This is in a game I love and I don't want any facet of the game to be a weakness. It has to perform all the way through from speed off the driver, control with the irons, spin around the greens, and control and the feel with the putter. I mean it has to do it all. If it doesn't then it's not the perfect golf ball. But in the case of Pro V1, it is."

The Valspar Championship marked the fourth time this season that Titleist achieved the feat of sweeping every major equipment category at a PGA Tour event.
From GOLF BALLS to DRIVERS, FAIRWAY METALS and HYBRIDS to IRONS, WEGDES and PUTTERS, the Titleist brand was the overwhelming field favorite as the Tour starts gearing up for the first major of the year.
