While the final acts of the FedExCup Playoffs are playing out on the PGA TOUR, the action on the LPGA Tour is also cresting this week, as the best women golfers in the world assemble in the French Alps for the final major on the 2017 LPGA Tour calendar, the Evian Championship.
With high winds and driving rains washing out Thursday's round, tour officials made the decision to shorten the tournament to a 54-hole event and that means players will need to make an early move. And one player who got out to a blazing start was Titleist golf ball loyalist Sung Hyun Park (Pro V1x) who opened with an 8-under par, 63 to take the early lead. Park has already earned her two victories in her rookie season, including her first major, with her win in July at the U.S. Women’s Open.
And with major hopes in the balance, Titleist is once again the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the Evian Championship with 94 players trusting a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success. That’s more than 11 times the nearest competitor with 8 and more than all competitors combined.
Good luck to all of #TeamTitleist this weekend in France!
