ASIAN TOUR | PIF Saudi International

Playing a NEW Pro V1 golf ball, Abraham Ancer posted a final round 68 to reach 19 under and win by two shots.

  • Ancer opened the tournament with a 7-under 63 and posted three more rounds in the 60’s (63-66-64-68) to finish off the wire-to-wire victory, only surrendering two bogeys all week.
  • “I believe that's the best or the more in control of the golf ball that I've been, I believe,” said Ancer. “Off the tee, iron play, putting was really solid, as well. I mean, I made two bogeys all week, and the two bogeys I really – I don't regret any shot that I hit. It was just a little bounce here and there. I believe it's one of the best ball-striking tournaments I've had for sure.”
  • Titleist Brand Ambassador Cameron Young finished two shots back at 17 under, recording his seventh worldwide top-3 finish since the start of the 2022 calendar year.

SUNSHINE TOUR | Cape Town Open

Benjamin Follett-Smith (Pro V1) earned his second career Sunshine Tour victory – and second victory at the Cape Town Open – after posting 15 under for the week at Royal Cape Golf Club.

PGA TOUR AUSTRALASIA | TPS Murray River

The winner of the 2023 TPS Murray River gamed a Pro V1x golf ball on her way to posting rounds of 67-69-63-65 and cruising to a five-shot victory in the mixed-gender event held at the Cobram Barooga GC.

  • The Victoria-native put on a ball striking clinic in Sunday’s final round, hitting 12 of 13 fairways and 16 of 18 greens.
  • The winner credited her play to recent work with coach Grant Field, who also coaches Champion Golfer of the Year Cameron Smith.
  • “He’s been drumming into me that ‘it’s not over unless I want it to be,’” she said. “To see everything come together this quickly is incredible. Because I was basically done at the end of last year, unless something changed drastically. I’m pretty happy, a little bit surprised with this.”
  • Ten of the 11 players finishing inside the top ten on the final leader board teed up a Titleist golf ball.
