It was a 1-2 finish for Titleist golf ball players at the Maybank Championship (an event co-sanctioned by the European and Asian Asian Tours), as Titleist golf ball loyalist Shubhankar Sharma (Pro V1x) fired a closing 10-under-par 62 to clip fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Jorge Campillo (Pro V1) by two shots to win his second European Tour title of the season.

Sharma claimed his maiden win in just his tenth European Tour event at the Joburg Open in December. He now has two victories in 13 starts, as he recorded a 21-under 267 victory total at Saujana Golf and Country Club in Malaysia. The win advances the 21-year old from India to the top of the Race to Dubai Rankings.

Campillo shot four consecutive rounds in the 60’s (69-66-66-68) in his runner-up effort.

Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Maybank Championship with 106 players teeing up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than six times the nearest competitor with 17.*

Langley closed with a 5-under-par 65, the lowest round of the day, en route to a 7-under-par 273 victory total.

Langley becomes the third consecutive Titleist golf ball loyalist to reach the Web.com victory circle to start the season.
