The official equipment counts from this week's Desert Classic are in - and the numbers are overwhelming.
Titleist is the clear top choice of more of the players in the field of 156 from tee-through-green ... from the GOLF BALL through nearly EVERY major GOLF CLUB category.
Titleist is once again the overwhelming golf ball of choice among players at the Desert Classic in Palm Springs, California, with 76% of the field (119 players) trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 10% (16 players).
Titleist is also the top choice in the driver (45), hybrid (29) and irons (44) categories. Vokey Design Wedges topped the approach, sand and lob wedge (227) category and Scotty Cameron putters were the top choice among players with 56 models in play.
Titleist drivers continue to gain momentum on the PGA Tour. This week at PGA West and LaQuinta CC, 38 of the 45 Titleist drivers in play are TS models (TS2 -10 | TS3 -28), equaling the number of all of the nearest competitor's driver models combined (38).
Enjoy the rest of the action this weekend and good luck to all of #TeamTitleist this week in the California desert!
