On golf's biggest stages, the winning ways continue for Titleist, as Titleist golf ball loyalists combined for two more titles around the globe over the weekend. In addition, it was all-Titleist final match at the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, where the winner relied on a Pro V1 golf ball to capture his first USGA crown and raise the Robert T. Jones Memorial Trophy.
Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 171 victories across the worldwide professional tours, more than six times the nearest competitor with 28.
To date this season, the game's finest players have relied on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball 22,3257 times, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 3,387 and more than all competitors combined.

Leading the way this week, Titleist golf ball loyalist Pat Perez (Pro V1) birdied three of his first four holes to start his final round and held on to win the CIMB Classic for his third career PGA Tour crown. Perez closed with a 3-under-par 69 at TPC Kuala Lumpur en route to a 24-under-par 264 victory total, four shots clear of his nearest competitor. He was the only player to shoot four consecutive rounds in the 60’s (66-65-64-69).
Perez makes it two-of-two for Titleist golf ball loyalists to start the 2017-18 PGA Tour season, following last week’s Safeway Open champion Brendan Steele (Pro V1x) into the Titleist winners’ circle.

Titleist golf ball loyalsit Tyrrell Hatton (Pro V1x ) sealed his second European Tour victory in seven days with a birdie at the last to win by one shot at the Italian Open. Last week's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship winner carded six birdies on Sunday - including five on the back nine – en route to a closing 5-under-par 65 and a 21-under 263 victory total.
The win marks the third career European Tour crown for Hatton and the 26th victory for Titleist golf ball players this season on the European Tour, more than five times the nearest competitor with 5.

And finally, It was an all-Titleist golf ball championship match at the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship in Atlanta where the first-time winner crafted a decisive 8 and 6 victory in the scheduled 36-hole final. The 30-year-old firefighter who plays out of Thorny Lea GC in Brockton, Mass., tied the third-largest winning margin in championship history.
In addition to playing the Pro V1 golf ball, the winner relied upon a 917F3 (13.5°) fairway metal, 716 T-MB (2), 716 CB (3-5) and 716 MB (6-PW) irons, and Vokey Design SM6 gap (52°) and TVD K-grind lob (58°) wedges for his success. Among the rewards awaiting the winner are invitations to the 2018 Masters and exemptions into the field at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills and U.S. Amateur at Pebble Beach.
Titleist topped the field in golf balls at the 2017 U.S. Mid-Amateur with 204 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than five times the nearest competitor with 38.
Titleist was also the top choice in hybrids (73) and iron sets (80). Vokey Design wedges were the #1 choice in the approach, sand and lob wedge category with 455 Vokey wedges in play, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 64 and more than all other wedges combined.
