PGA TOUR | Mexico Open at VidantaWorld
With everything on the line, Brian Campbell stuck his Pro V1x golf ball to within 4 feet of the flagstick, setting up the tap-in birdie that would clinch the playoff and his breakthrough PGA TOUR victory.
- That career-changing shot – from 68 yards, his Pro V1x flew low toward the pin before checking and quickly stopping 3 feet, 7 inches from the hole – exemplified Campbell’s weeklong ball-striking and short game clinic.
- He gained a field-best +12.252 strokes from tee to green in Mexico – with 92% (+11.301) of them gained on approach shots (+5.842/4th) and around the green (+5.466/2nd).
- Campbell was among the 77 percent (101) of players who teed up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x in Mexico, more than seven times the nearest competitor (13), including playoff runner-up Aldrich Potgieter (NEW 2025 Pro V1x).
