When you custom order a driver with a custom shaft, fubuki tour in my case, can you request for a 73 stiff tipped x? So that it is a tipped stiff shaft that plays somewhere between and S and X but still has a 45" length when in a 910?

Hi Nicholas,
We can tip any shaft to any length in a custom order, however we're unable to say with 100% certainty that tipping an 'S' shaft by an inch for example will produce a shaft that plays like an 'X' flex. To achieve the desired ball flight and spin rate you are after combined with the overall weight and feel we recommend you consult a Titleist Fitting professional.
In the example you've given above (i.e a heavy shaft being tipped for a driver) there would be a degree of guesswork involved into trying to manufacture your perfect shaft- it would be much better to test what's available and go from there. If you are based in Sydney or Melbourne we can arrange for you to have a fitting session at one of our new facilities. Let us know.
