With almost half the field only 3 strokes out of the lead after the first round, it will be a tough call to pick a winner. I do see that Mackenzie Hughes is doing well and it would be great to see him pull off the win, but alas - i think that John Rahm may pull this one off. He is hungry for a win right now !

For this year, I’ll be pulling for Will Zalatoris in all the big tournaments to recover the form he had before withdrawing from the BMW in the manner in which he did and ultimately miss the TOUR championship.

What a tournament. Felt bad for Morikowa though.

I know, second time losing a big lead in the final round. I hope he can recover from it. I wonder if he can find tape of every one else having trouble chipping off that grainy bermuda.

I know I said that Rahm was hungry for the win, but that was after round one when they were all close. There is absolutely no way I thought that Rahm would catch and actually surpass Colin Morikawa on day four. I have to admit that like many many others, I figured that it was Colin's tournament hands down when they started day four. He was simply playing too well to miss. Alas - Golf is a very fickle mistress and although Morikawa lost this one, he has way too much talent for this to be his last chance...
