Dennis... I know we are all different and clubs play differently in everyone's hands so take this with a grain of salt. I had a fitting session with Titleist for the T series irons and personally found no change or advantage in switching from my 718 AP3's. Distance and accuracy were pretty much the same for me. As such, after a good chat with my fitter I decided to wait for the next iron release which should come out this year. The good news is that it is highly likely that you may see a bigger difference coming from the 714's. Hopefully you get some good feedback from the TT members to help you out.

I've never played them but what I can tell you is to go get fit. I had an off the shelf set of AP2's and went to get fit for T100's. I went from a 165 yard 7 iron to 180 yards. I think I had the stock AMT white or something like that, was fitted into Modus 105 shafts which I felt made the big difference.

I switched from 716 AP1's to the T200 last year. I love the look of them, my biggest take away is that I was fit by Titleist this time, I went from a regular shaft, stock settings to 3* up and a stiff shaft. Has helped greatly with my ball striking and lowering my scores.

I got out today and played my new irons T200(2021). Glad I made the upgrade, (maybe should’ve waited for the new ones). The new are irons are great, love the sound and feel of them. Now I just need to fill the gap at the top end of the bag.
