    Good afternoon,

I have a 905R w/ a Diamana Blue Board (Stiff) shaft 65g, with a full cord grip...It is the perfect weight/feel and look. What is the swing weight of this setup and what is a comparable 913D3 to match?

I also have a 910D2/Kali'i shaft (Stiff) and its a complete different feel. Plus the face looks CLOSED at address compared to the 905R, even at the B1 setting. I think that is why I hit my 905R much straighter and longer than my newer 910D2. Why is the face closed when the "spec sheet" says its .5 degrees open?

Thanks for your time and input into the questions!

Hi Wlliam,  We would have built the Diamana Blue 65 in the 905R to a D4 swingweight.  The 910 Kai'li is a little firmer and we would have built it slightly lighter at a D3 swingweight.  As far as the head looking closed, we would be happy to check the specs for you - just take it to your local pro shop and have them set up an inspection.  The B1 setting does not change the standard loft/face angle, only the lie angle which moves to .75 flat.

On finding a comparable 913, we would recommend getting fit for the club to make sure that the head, setting and shaft are optimized for your swing.  Even though the +Blue is a close cousin to the Diamana Blue 65, it is not the same shaft and will feel slightly different.

Finally, a thread that's still alive!  I just purchased a previously owned - that's what car dealers call "used" - 905 R and it has a Stutz Tri Edge Nano Arrow (65-33-040) shaft.  Without me going to a golf shop, what might the swing weight be?  I prefer a higher swing weight, generally, as I can better feel the head throughout the arc.  I have no prior experience with this shaft.  Any help would be much appreciated.

    www.Stutzgolf.com/products - it is a shaft listed at 65 g.

Have you tried hitting it?  Does the triangle shape seem to be more consistent?

Thanks for the reply.  No, I haven't hit it yet, but just in my hands and with an indoor swing, it seems to be "heavier" or head-heavy (a good thing) to me when compared to the png G2 (even with lead tape).  I wish it were warmer than 30 degrees, but it's not and I probably won't get to hit it for a couple of weeks yet.

  7. The weight fell out of my Titleist 905R driver. Is this something i can purchase?

Not from Titleist. Even 917 weights are unlikely. Lead tape is the easiest solution, buying another used club is another option Being 12+ years old used clubs would be close in price to just new TS weights.
Even Henrick S.moved on from his Callie Diablo 3W after running out of replacements

An old beat up one on ebay for parts or use lead tape.
