A friend just gave me a 907 D2 driver. I have a stiff shaft in my current driver and the D2 has an off brand regular shaft. What would be the correct stiff shaft that Titleist would put in that club?

Hi Kevin,  The 907 is a tough reshaft because it has a lightweight hosel and cannot be heated as hot as others or it will melt.  It was also a bore thru design which means it had a 3.5"-4" parallel tip.  We no longer have those shafts and the only way we can reshaft that club is to blind bore it.

The stock shafts that were used in the 907:

Aldila VS Proto65, YS 6+, Spec Grid 67, Proforce V2 76 and a Diamana Blue - the only shafts we currently have are the YS6+ and the V2 76.

  3. The shaft on my 915D broke last weekend. No abuse, just broke on the downswing. Where can I go to get it reshafted? Is it a tough reshaft?

    Thanks

Hi Jim, Some of the 915 drivers are still under warranty depending on the date of purchase. If your driver was purchased new recently and we built this shaft, take it back to your local pro and have him/her set up a Warranty inspection. They will need both pieces as well as the serial number. Once the Warranty team receives it and it is deemed to be under Warranty, they will build a new one for you.
  5. I have a 915 driver with a stiff shaft but recently was fitted at a Titleist fitting and the Diamana Blue regular 60g was recommended. Where can I get it reshafted without mailing it somewhere and losing use for weeks?
