  1. When 90 percent of amateurs slice or fade the ball, why would Titlist make the 913 D2 driver .5 degree open as the standard A1 position?

At D4 is the clubhead a .5 degree closed?

  2. Can someone from Titleist answer this question

My opinion is - the D2 is used by pros and Titleist does offer the same model for serious, if not necessarily just low handicap players. Other companies don't offer the same head to the public that they do to the pros. Too much offset and a closed head will make it harder to cut a drive. What Titleist doesn't offer is a super game improvement line of anything. I do appreciate the +0.75 degree loft to close the face most of the time. But I have options and can adjust the club for the course I'm playing. I likely wouldn't enjoy a 909 driver since I can't tweak it to slow down my fade. Being LH and most holes tend to dogleg right, I need draw on those courses.

Visually, a slightly open face angle produces the best and most preferred appearance at address and our industry leading Surefit hosel allows players to make adjustments to correct their ball flight.  In addition, the D2 head, with its deeper CG has more dynamic face closure than the D3, which means that it will be easier to close (for players with slice tendencies).
