AP2 712 and AP1 714 4 iron

    Hello Team Titleist

    I've a set of AP2 712 4-P with KBS Tour Stiff shaft.

    I wanted to switch the 4 iron and I purchased an AP1 714 (true temper XP95 shaft).

    The golf shop where I bought it took my AP2 4 iron shaft and put it on my new 4 iron AP1.

    But this new 4 iron (AP1 714 with KBS Tour Stiff) feels different than the others clubs of my set.

    Is there a big head weight difference between an AP2 712 4 iron and an AP1 714 4 iron ?

    What could be wrong with this new iron ?

    Hi, The head weights are virtually the same, but they are different head sizes.   It may feel different due to the sole width, materials and the offset  You can also have your shop check the swingweight and adjust it (if needed).

    Zach Johnson has the same set up with the AP1 4 iron and the AP2 irons.
