I am curious. I understand flex and bend point, but what makes a shaft low, medium, or high spin? Same with the launch. I see all the write ups where the manufacturer says their product is "high launch/low spin" or some similar variation.

Low kick point = higher trajectory.  Shaft, club head, loft and club head speed will produce different spin rates.  The shaft is only part of the equation.

Ok, so if low kp = high traj, then a manufacturer whould have to know the head size! weight, loft, and club speed for each combination. And, how does that account for a high launching shaft that advertised low spin or a low launching shaft that claims low spin. Guess what I am asking is how does a shaft manufacturer control spin. Trajectory I can understand.
