Your profile lists the 10.5 with a R flex shaft. If you have the red shaft Ilima, that is 58 g. The Bassara by Titleist is available at 48-49 g for senior (A-flex) or regular. You can also adjust the head to 12 degrees. The Ilima and Bassara are both listed as high launch, so the weight and flex likely won't do as much as the loft adjustment. If you have the blue Kai'li (mid-launch), that may need a replacement. If you are at A1 (stock), you can adjust to A4 to change the loft from 10.5 to 12. Any pro shop that does fittings can look at your current settings and shaft and help you with trying different settings, shaft options (inc. the Bassara in L, A, or R flex), and maybe a nudge on your swing. Before actively promoting a new driver. I'd caution against a sporting goods retailer with a 913 on the rack that would rather sell that than either adjust your head or have to special order a shaft.

Hi Rick - My suggestion would be to locate the nearest Titleist club fitter near you, or when the Titleist van will be in your area next. The shaft is the engine to the club, so you always want to make sure you have the right "engine" powering the club. As we get older and our swing goes through changes, it is very important to give our sticks regular tune ups. When you locate that Titleist club fitter, you might want to look at all of your clubs and shafts. Good Luck..........

    Rick,

There are far more knowledgeable people here than myself, but without knowing your specifics, I'll share my experience.  Back when I was last fitted for a driver, we experimented with 5 shafts.  Two were lighter, one was a different flex and they all varied a bit in terms of kick point.  In the end, one was a hands down winner over the others, an easy 15 "launch monitor" yards longer than the rest.  On the course, I've consistently outdriven a few guys who were previously as long if not slightly longer than myself.  All I can suggest, is to try and find some time to be fittted.

    Good luck,

    George

Trackman data that I have shows for a 80 mph you should be launching around 18* with 2650 spin, these numbers are for optimum carry distance (181yds carry / 197yds total). A lightweight shaft like the Bassara may help however I would suggest that you adjust the loft + 1.5* first & try to increase the angle of attack (hitting on upswing) to see if that helps you. If you could get the spin a little lower the ball would run out a little more.

    Rick,

How is your ball flight? High or low?

What shaft do you have now? Do you like the feel? Ball flight? How have your tee shots changed (other than distance)?

    Hang in there.

    Rick,

A shaft change may be appropriate and an adjustment in loft. I suggest you locate a club fitter who uses Trackman and have them check your numbers.
