I am looking for suggestions for a great Titelist club fitter in North Carolina. I live in eastern NC but I have no problem making a road trip for this type of investment. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

    David (Great name isn't it?!),

I'm sure that Cathi will give you some great recommendations. I was looking up stuff myself, and there's actually an Advanced Titleist Fitting Center in Cary, roughly 83 miles from you. I listed it below). It may be a drive, but, Advanced centers have a better assortment of shafts, heads, etc.. Also, they'll more than likely fit you outdoors, which is what you'd want to achieve better results.

    Prestonwood Country Club

    Advanced Fitting CenterWhat is this?

As David said, we do have an Advanced Fitter, Andy Harris at Prestonwood CC in Cary.  Andy has a Trackman and a good selection of fitting shafts.  if you have a particular shaft that you are looking to try, please talk with him and if he does not have the shaft, he can always contact us at Team Titleist and we can arrange to get it to him for your fitting (if the shaft is in our library).
    His number is: 919-467-9601
Another option would be our Performance Van.  It is scheduled to swing through NC from October 8th through the 18th.  It will be in Greensboro as well as Charlotte, which are both a considerable distance from you.

  6. Cathi,

When is the performance van going to be in Greensboro and where will it be stopping?  I'm in Greensboro and would love to get fit for some AP1s and at least a new driver and some wedges.  If I can't make it work to meet up with the Performance Van, who in Greensboro would be recommend for a full bag Titleist fitting.  Thanks!

Since we're talking about NC, how about setting something up on the eastern side of Raleigh?  Im on the coast (Jacksonville), and would love the opportunity for a fitting.

The East Coast Performance Van will be heading out to Tennessee after they finish up in Charlotte and then through Georgia.  There are no Advanced fitters near you, but Alan over at New Bern CC is a very good fitter and you can contact him at:  252.637.2413.  If there are shafts that you are interested in trying, let him know.

HI Brian,  Good to talk with you.  Let us know how the fitting goes!

  10. Cathi,

I should have asked you this on the phone.  If I can't get it worked out to participate with the Performance Van in a couple of weeks, who do you guys have in your database as a good Titleist fitter in Greensboro or Winston-Salem that I could touch base with?

We would recommend Jim Deaton or Adam Boehm over at Greensboro CC - 919.467.9601

Thank you Cathi.  My daughter just played her HS match at New Bern CC.  I should have introduced myself.  I'll see if I can make it back over there.
