    Hello Everyone -

Unfortunately I have been hitting several fat shots with my 54.11 and 58.09 Vokey SM4 wedges. Not big divit chunky, just slightly fat, seem to be going right under the ball and catching it way up on the clube face. When fitted, went with 1 degree flat and standard length.  Wondering if 1/4" short would be more appropriate, height is 5'7" and wrist too floor is 31.25 inches.  7 handicap, never experienced this in the past, hoping to get the scoring clubs back on track as they are currently costing me shots inside 100 yards.  Thx.

    Hi Marc

I'm sorry to hear you are struggling a little with your wedges. I would recommend choking up a little bit to see if that helps your contact. 1/4" is not much at all, about the length of the grip cap so you won't be changing your hand position very much. Also, check your ball position. If the ball starts to move too far forward in your stance, that can lead to some heavy shots.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks

    Will

  3. You may want to consider adding more bounce to your wedges.  JAT
