I purchased this set in 2012 through a golf pro shop and they were custom made for me by Titleist 1" longer and three degrees upright with midsize oversized grips. At the time I ordered I didn't realize that Titlelist's standard length was 1' shorter than my previous clubs and found out that I didn't get the extra inch of length I needed. Now I would like to add a 1" plug to the end of the graphite shafts to give me the extra length I need. There seems to be two different sizes of these plug extenders. Which one do I need? I also would like to reduce the 3 degree upright to standard when the shafts are longer. Will a good pros hop be able to bend these back to standard without damage? Or to be safe should I send them back to Titleist for the rework?

    Hi Dean,

    Thanks for the question.

When it comes to major repair work like extending/re-shafting your clubs, we suggest sending them back to us. We will work on the swing weight, loft/lie and re grip the clubs in accordance with our Titleist specs.

If you have any questions about the process, please do not hesitate to contact our club customer service department at 1-888-TITLEIST.

    Hope this helps.

What would the costs be to add the 1" Length plug, re-grip with Mid Size grips and change the lie to standard rather than 3 degrees upright?
  5. You would do well selling your clubs and buying the ones you want.  Usually when I do this, I break even, sometimes I lose a little and sometimes I make a little.

HI Dean,  What we would do is to reshaft your clubs as we don't add extensions to any shafts.  The MSRP to reshaft with a Kurokage or GDI 65 shaft and Tour Velvet mid size grips is $60.00 per club.

I think I need to be refitted before I do any changes or buy new clubs. I don't know why I'm so far off, I was fitted by the NW WA Titleist Rep before I bought these. Something isn't right. Will there be a Iron fitting session in the Phoenix area in the next 5 months. I will be in Apache Junction, AZ from November 15, 2014 to April 14, 2015.
