KBS Tour V shafts

    Has anyone been playing the KBS Tour V shafts in their AP2s?  I currently play the DG S300 and am looking for something different.  I hit the shaft last week in a 6 iron and liked it.  The KBS Tour V felt softer than the S300 and the ball flight was a little higher.  Anyone else have any experience with the shaft?

    Hi MemphisU,

    I play the Tour V in my MB's.  I switched from PJX 6.5 at the beginning of summer.  I like that they're lighter and they definitely have more feel in the tip (softer).  I have always hit the ball pretty high with my irons, but I noticed that my trajectory is better with the KBS.  I think you'll definitely get a higher ball flight from the Tour V over the S300. I say give them a try.

    You will not believe how high you will hit this shaft.If you play in any wind at all you wwont like this shaft.It just goes too high.In fact Im looking for a low flite shaft for the 714 AP2s.

    You will launch the ball higher, but you'll also gain more distance because the shaft is lighter. I switched from the DGS300 and gained 10 yards a club. Plus they feel much better than the S300's.

    I have the C-Taper in my 714 AP2s and love them. I went from the PX 6.0. The Tour V, I believe, is pretty similar, but a higher launch than the C-Taper. 

    I still have my 712 AP2s with PX 6.0 and I hit them every once in a while and the difference is always amazing to feel when you hit them side by side.
