  1. Hi!! I am writing here as here in Spain in quite difficult to get fitted when you have quite high swing speed (+90mph) most of the fitter do not have x-flex shafts!

I have a set of AP2 714 with a Px 6.0, but after considering it I do not like the feeling of the club, head is to heavy and the shaft after years playing it I do not like the feeling and the way I swing this combination. Lighter head is really helping me to have a better impact and consistency

My ss is with a trackman around 92-97mph with the 6i but I often get to too much spin in my ball (c.7000rpm with the 6i)

I have been trying recently the 714 MBs and I really like the MBs with a KBS Tour Stiff shaft. The problem is that the fitter told me that Stiff is not enough for me. I really like the feeling of the KBS Tour S and the MB head it is amazing how repetitive I can become hitting the ball and the Swing plane was way better with the lighter head of the MBs

I am looking for an option that really fits my swing so I have the S+ and the X but I like the S combination and maybe the 125-130gr of these shafts might destroy the feeling

In addition to, last week I was hitting a swoosh Forged Pro Blade with DG X100 but the spin was too much, the ball was ballooning and I was c.5m shorter.

I am looking for a low penetrating ball flight with a not very heavy shaft and club fitting in Spain is barely impossible so I am gonna buy the without trying (once again, 4th set in the year...going crazy with the clubs)

    I have to questions:

    1. Which shaft would you recommend me?

    2. Will hardstepping the KBS solve my problems? or better to choose a 125gr s+ be ok?

    3. Any other options that will help me to have a penetrating ball with low spin with the MB head? What about the NS Pro Modus 120 X?

    Thank you!

Thank you for your help and time!

Your swing seems to be the same as mine. I'm often over 100 on my 6-7i. Just like you, I had the AP2 with PX 6.0. and they just did not feel right, I fully agree.

I found myself at a Titleist Demo Day and the guy recommended the KBS C-Taper on the AP2. I hit it and could not believe the difference. I'm pretty certain what you feel is the shaft and not the club. The C-Taper helps me keep the ball a little lower that I did with the PX and the feel is amazing.

I did go to the stiff on the C-Taper and am happy. I didn't try their X-Stiff (maybe I'll look at it next time), but I do have X-Stiff on my 913 D3 Driver.

    Try it out.
