I'm so excited that I'm going to be the owner of a Titleist Driver.  The 913 series felt great, but I just couldn't get it to perform as well as my current gamer.  I tend to launch high and spin the ball pretty good.  I went for a fitting at Club Champion yesterday and was hopeful that I would finally end up with a Titleist that was longer and more forgiving than the rest.  I hit everything from the G30 and all the latest from cally, swoosh and TM.  Nothing outperformed the Titleist D2 for me.  I'm a consistent hitter, 10 handicap, but definitely not a fast swinger and rely upon technology to give me a boost.  Titleist nailed it with the new line.  

Not only was the D2 longer than the G30, SLDR, Covert 2.0 and others, but it was also at the highest in terms of forgiveness.  I can't wait for my club to ship next month.  Oh and I forgot, it also had a much tighter dispersion than the rest.

Thanks Titleist for making a GREAT all around product that exudes confidence at approach.  My buds will be envious to say the least!  Now I'm off to try the rest of the fairway woods and hybrids.  I hope I get the same result!
