i went through a driver fitting for the new 915 D2. This is what i got from the fitting result. 9.5* regular Dia S + Blue 60 shaft with hosel adjusted to D2

My question is how good is the Diamana S + Blue 60 stack shaft. Do you have any recommendations, look for another shaft brand that could be  better without spending much or should i stick to this stack shaft that have been fitted to me?

    thanks!

From what I have been able to discern, the Diamana S+ Blue shaft is an excellent shaft for the average golfer. I use an S+ Blue in my 913 H and have been exceptionally pleased with the performance.

I, too, had a fitting for the 915s this weekend and ended up in the 915 D2, with the Diamana 60 S+ Blue, in Stiff, set on A1.  The fitter tried me in the White 72 S and the Blue R.  Best numbers, with best dispersion came from the S+ Blue 60 S.

I then went to G*** G***** and compared the Titleist fitting with the png G30.  Overall, the numbers showed my best bet is the Diamana S+ Blue in Stiff on a Titleist 915 D2.  I would trust the fitter, unless you really want or need to pay big bucks for an exotic shaft.

Thanks for you responce... your right...unless i want to spend more on a $450 driver.

I also tried different shafts and head and that the one that fits me. I'll just go ahead and get the specs i got for the 915 D2. thanks again!

The Diamana Red, White, and Blue options for 2015 are the commercial versions of the shafts, not made for Titleist versions. Rogue shafts in Black and Silver round out the standard shafts. The biggest concern is if your fitting location had multiple options to try. I went through most of the options at an AFC (didn't look at the white as my slower speed doesn't fit that profile) and ended up on the Blue in R flex and D2 (I'm left-handed - set to 11 degrees loft). So that works for me. Going to a more exotic shaft offers no advantage if you can't try it outside to see if it corrects spin/dispersion or has a better feel with equal or better results. Without any knowledge of your swing speed and hitting tendencies, it's hard to say what fits me is just as good for you.

You got fitted and you do not trust what results you were given?   I have the same saft on my 913h and can work the ball either way, what more can you ask for!!

I don't know. Am a little bit confused on the fitting. I had an old TM burner 2.0 bought just off the rack without being fitted.

i just got that because it gives me more distance when i compared it with the other brands that i tested. Now that i want  a new driver and want to have the same brand as my irons, i want to get the most out of, since it's  more expensive compared to other brands i want to maximize everything i will get.

After the fitting and trying different head and stock shafts and adjustments with 915 is offering i can see no difference big difference from the distance that i have with my old driver almost identical distance and consistency... maybe i need to have another fitting with different fitter? any suggestion will be appreciated. bottom line want to get a new ( Titleist ) driver. lol
