  1. Hey guys, I'm traveling to Round Rock on business in 2 weeks, I have a 913D2 driver that I purchased a little bit over a year ago, no fitting whatsoever. I would like to get either fitted for a new driver shaft or maybe for a new driver. Would like to stick to Titleist though, all of my clubs are from the brand. 2 questions here: 1. As a 19 handicapper, do I need a Regional Fitting Center? or should I be just fine with a Golfsmith / Golf galaxy fitter?, would they have all shafts to try? 2. Do you think it makes sense for me to bring my driver and see if we can maximize the performance with a new shaft and adjusting the settings or should I just go straight to the 915? Where should I go?, any contacts out there? email? Thank you all!

I'm luck enough in that my closest outdoor Titleist fitter is also an Advanced Fitting Center (between cart and Regional). Even for stock shafts, I found the AFC had more options than the nearest box retailer with a bag. During a desperate moment for a driver (all outdoor shops closed for the winter) we couldn't try all available flexes so we guessed on the shaft. I've since gone for a driver fitting at the AFC, and ended up with a different shaft. That was more improvement than the difference with the 913/915 heads. If you are close enough to an AFC or Regional or a local club that fits outdoors with a monitor, go for it.

Austin GC is an Advanced Fitter as well as Austin CC.  Both will have more fitting options and shafts vs a Surefit Cart or Bag fitter.  Either way, it would make sense to take your current driver because they would want to see your baseline numbers and shiow you the differences based on your preferences and optimal flight.   Austin GC is near Spcewood - Matt and Eliot are the fitters there - 512.264.9787.  Ann Marie is the head pro and fitter at Austin CC - she can be reached at:  512.328.0030.
