Titleist Tour a Fitting v. Cool's Clubs

    have a fitting in Oceanside next week and am really jazzed. Friend of mind went to Cool Clubs in Scottsdale a couple of weeks ago and was pretty impressed. Was wondering if anyone had experience with both and how they compare. Obviously Titleist is going to be one brand v. Multiple, but is the process the same? He said they fm' his irons and then started the process of finding shafts. Just curious.

    At Oceanside you will be working with the same people that fit the Titleist ambassadors. They will have the full array of options there to try. You can't match that in-depth experience just anywhere. Not saying your friend's experience wasn't of value, just not the same experience as Oceanside or Manchester Lane. Even compared to my local Advanced Fitting Center, Manchester was a notch up from there.

    Cool clubs sells a lot of bells and whistles and computer program stuff -- Oceanside is more predicated on ball flight , hitting from grass along with industry standard launch monitor technology….  Oceanside is probably more about educating you on the right stuff.

    Enjoy it Gordon!  I've never been, but I did a fitting at Manchester Ln in MA (Sister facility) and it was top notch through and through.  You're sure to have a great time.

    I like the idea of actual results with experts as opposed to just data. I think numbers are great, but if the club doesn't fit your eye (or shot pattern isn't right) no amount of computer evidence will lead to better scores. One week from today!

    I did a fitting in Oceanside in early December and it was great. You will not find better people or equipment to work with. You are treated like a pro and the service, advice and recommendations come from the best. The information you get from the TrackMan while hitting full shots provides so much insight into getting you the best fit. I would strongly recommend you see the Titleist folks in Oceanside.
