I'm assuming that you were fitted at a store with a 6 iron? If your fitter was an authorized Titleist Fitting Pro, then I'd go with what they fitted you in to. If you were doing your fitting with the +.5/2* UP, and you were getting those numbers, then no. The AD shaft may give you some extra spin. Did you try that shaft out? However, what works for some people may not work for others. There are other variables, such as, what kind of balls were you using during your fitting, hitting off of a mat, launch monitor/sim, and so on.

When  I  went in to  get fitted .  I told fitter I wanted graphite shaft .  

I two club fitter measure me  fitting  both came up  +.5/2* UP , I am comfortable  with that part. 

The spin number are a 6i standard lie /standard length shafts off a  mat using bstone  E7 balls.  

(I would use  different ball for golf game)  

Sometimes I  should leave well enough alone. but i did not!

The weight  balance with the lighter steel shaft  felt  good. The fitter at showed me how to the launch monitor software place a green at  landing zone, to see how the  ball spin  would  react to the green. 

I have since has chance to hit the  Kuro kage 65 off mat outside and see the ball flight its great.

(I would be  not surprise if the distance number where  a little short) 

No I have not had a chance to  the tour AD shaft. I was looking at the option to if there was a option for graphite to produce a higher backspin  with the same ball flight .  

That is nature of question . what are reasonable shaft option?  

 I am still a relative new bee to golf . sometime i don't what I should be asking.

 

This probably won't apply to you, but my first Titleist irons were 712 AP1 with the AD-65, over time my swing changed. I didn't like the feel of the PW compared to a stock Vokey GW with a metal wedge shaft, and I was losing distance with shots going high. I went to the 85 KK in the AP1 914. I liked the feel better with the 85 over the KK 65, especially in the shorter irons. I did get a Vokey for the PW, but it has the 85 KK shaft I trusted the fitter on the Vokey's to get them 1/4 shorter as I tended to make contact a tad high on the face.

Yes the wedge with steel shafts is one things I was looking at. The tangle weed used in rough, I need a stiffer shaft.

I did find the the weight of the XP 95 was a better balance provide a smoother swing. I get to quick with my hands and arms. With  KK65 sometime . i feel all club head and no shaft.  

I think you bring up a good point. I need to ask for a shaft fitting to find the  correct balance.
