  1. Hey Team Titleist! Currently I own a 915D3 with a Rogue Silver 60 x flex and a 915F 15 degree with the Rogue Silver 70 x flex with the Titleist standard 1/2" tipping on that shaft for fairways. I am about to order a 915F 18 degree with a Motore Speeder VC Tour 8.2. I like my driver and 3wood to play similar, for consistency off tees, but I hit my 5wood into par 5 greens much more often than off tees. My swing speed is about 115 with driver and 110 with woods. I play standard lengths (45"-driver, 43"-3wood, 42"-5wood). I carry about 280-290 with driver, 250-260 with 3 wood, and 230-240 with 5 wood. Given that proper fitting is always encouraged, my questions are as follows. What is the standard Titleist tipping for this shaft in fairways? What is recommended for my swing speed? And what would be recommended based on the specs currently on my driver and 3 wood? Thanks for your time!

Hi Brian,  If you ordered the standard Rogue Silver and did not ask for tipping, the driver was not tipped and the 15° fairway was tipped 1/2".  The standard tipping on the VC 8.2 TS S or X flex would be 1" for a 15° fairway and 1.5" for an 18° fairway.  Please note that the VC weighs about 10 grams more than the 60, has a stiffer tip and overall has a stiffer profile than the Rogue Silver 60.  Swingspeed is only one component, but if your ball speed with your driver is 170+, you are probably in an X flex - it is going to depend on feel and to do that comparison, we would recommend you see a fitter that can observe your ball flight and swing.
