Has Titleist approved the True Temper XP 115 shaft for installation into its irons yet?

Hi Craig,  Yes, it has been approved for use in the irons.  We are transitioning into adding it to our matrix, but until that happens we are quoting about 4 weeks to build and ship.

    Excellent...Thanks...:)

  4. Is this setup still a 4 week lead time?  Would hard stepping it add any time?

Hi Ryan, We received our shipment from True Temper and demand has already consumed them.  We are waiting on a new shipment wihich should hopefully arrive by the end of this week.  Hard stepping will add 1-2 days.  Once we are at standard stocking levels on the shaft, the build time should be about 3 days.

  6. Thanks Cathi. Is there an up charge for tour velvet cord grips?

Hi Ryan,  There is an upcharge for all cord grips.  We don't have an MSRP, but the Titleist (Golf Pride) Tour Velvet cord grips are less than the Tour Velvet cord grips without the Titleist logo.

  8. Cathi, What is hard and soft stepping? Please explain. steve b

Hard stepping would be to take a shorter shaft - ie a 6 iron shaft and put it into the 5 iron head.  It will make the iron play slightly stiffer than a standard 5 iron shaft.  Soft stepping would be to put the 5 iron shaft into the 6 iron head, which will have the effect of playing slightly softer than standard.
