Hi Jerrold... the AP1s technically have very low bounce, especially 7 iron on down... so all things being equal... you could have a slider take better shots with the AP1.  But you don't necessarily need divots to hit quality shots!

 The best advise I can offer you would be to go see a Titleist certified fitter, explain your situation and he will put you in exactly what you need.  That will be the best decision you every made.  I am a picker and I play AP2s and my playing buddy is a digger and he plays AP2s.  We play different shafts, different lengths, and different lies.  I am a 10 and he is a 3 handicap.  Again, go see a fitter like we did and if you want to get maximum performance.
