I love my Titleist Equipment best I have ever owned. But I have been messing around with my swing a little trying to become an all around better golfer. I am making major improvements with my irons, hybrids and fairways. I have just recently gained two full clubs length with all of them and real close to gaining three with no lose in accuracy. Went from 105 yds PW to 130 same clubs same conditions and same results with all clubs. 8-iron from 125 to 145-150. But my Driver distance is going absolutely no where I have no idea what my SS is with my irons, recently fit for a new 3-wood it was around 93 MPH, and gained 30 yds with it. But this driver is running 87-91 mph SS that I hit 225-240 total roll out with a nice little draw but compared to the rest of my set it is way off. I was fit in 2013 for a driver @ 103 mph and getting 260-270 roll out. Ok I am two years older but I have actually increased on every other club. I way be wrong, I may be trying too hard and tensing up,or I  have flattened my swing plane too much or maybe I am just greedy. If I could still get the 2013 driver distance I would be tickled pink. Was a bad slicer in a previous life was told I had to steep of an attack angle on all my clubs so I flattened the swing plane and worked on inside out everything improved including driver but driver hit a stopping point and everything else kept improving. Since I do not have access to a instructor or a good fitter even remotely close I was turning to you guys for ideas. Anyone have any? I am really digging this new swing if only the driver would play nice too.

    pw-130, 9-iron 140, 8-iron 150, 7-iron 160, 6-ion 170, 5-iron 180, 4-iron 190, 3-iron 200, hybrid 215, 3-wood 235-240 and then Driver 225-240

Ok did a little range work this week. Turns out attack off on driver, hitting down on ball. Played one round since and  had 8 tee shots  fall in the 260+ range so feel a little better but would still like any tips or drills on increasing driver swing speed please

Have you tried adjusting your driver to the B-1(.75* flatter)setting. I have had a little more ball speed from shorter length driver in my past when my plane was a little off, now I can play standard length with the B-1 setting. Next time on range try gripping down an inch & see if contact is improved without losing any carry distance.

I was going to suggest angle of attack. I've been suffering from the same issue, but slowly getting better. I expect to be bombing it on a much more regular basis soon. The biggest issue I'm having is getting the face squared at impact. Good job and keep it up!

I do love my 913.  In fact I almost surprised if I miss the fairway. I have complete confidence in that club, however, the potential

improvements in the 915 are worth checking out.

Hey Dwayne, I'm certainly no expert, but your numbers on your iron improvement are very good. So you are doing many things right. As a plus handicap, even I battle the urge to swing hard and not properly release the club with a driver in my hands. My teacher is 68 years old, and he can hit a driver 280-290 with one hand on the club. (His right hand on his left forearm, just above the wrist.)All he talks about is smooth transition, and think swing, not hit. I can't do it! He is an old Percy Boomer disciple that actually focuses on the arms slowing down through impact as the hands fire away and release the club. That is how the big hitters achieve maximum club head speed through impact. Just my opinion, but it works for me. Keep plugging away Bro, it'll come!!
