Hey everyone . I live in Hawaii on the big island. To my knowledge there's no one here with a launch monitor. I am looking for a new driver. I currently play a swoosh covert 2.0 with a kuro kage s flex 50 g shaft set at 8.5 deg. Carry distance is about 220 - 230. SS is 95-100. Quick tempo. I have a pretty high ball flight even though the driver is set at 8.5 and I don't get much roll out. Does anyone have any idea what equipment might help me get out there a little further ? Thanks.

Hi Justin, sounds like your high ball flight may be caused more by excess spin rather than launch. If you describe yourself as having a quick tempo, I would recommend trying some heavier weight shafts that is stiffer in the tip. This may also allow you to go to a 9.5 head to improve launch conditions. Try hitting the 915D3 8.5 and 9.5 heads with the Diamana D+ White 70 in stiff flex. Pay attention to your initial launch off the club face after impact as well as the decent angle of the ball.

just fyi, new schedules are being posted recently for all over the country.  last week there were none posted for hawaii, but recently several popped up.

went to my home course to try and see if a fitting for volky and 915s and they were kinda surprised that I had inside track on the demo day.  you might get one soon.  only thing in Kona or hilo.

    good luck

Hi, We spoke to the sales rep in Hawaii and he recommended talking with Rodney at Hilo Municipal - Rodney does use a launch monitor for fittings:  808.959.9601
