    hello,

    I am a 12-16 handicapper

For many years, different drivers I used, all shafts was between 60-69 grams of stiff shafts. I hit the driver poorly in distance and accuracy. The offline to the target, each shot averages 30 yards to 45 yards which is not great overall. I hit duck hook shots more then i can count.  I am considering to purchase 915 D2 9.5 loft or 10.5 loft. My swing mph is usually around 95-100. In my Bag, I have 913 F 15 degrees, project x 8C4, tip is 6.0 and the shaft is 82 grams. I hit the 913 F like any driver. Accuracy is fair and distance is great.

I need your input on which shaft would fit me better, the lighter shaft or the heavier shaft for 915 D2 9.5?

any help would be much appreciated!!!

For me personally, and this is for any driver, I prefer a lighter shaft because a light shaft promotes club head speed.

A fitting will tell many stories. There may be a small correction in your swing that may help. Beyond that, the shaft weight may not be as important as the correct torque and the bend pattern. All stiff shafts are not equal. I was uncomfortable with a 913 with the S+ stiff and thought the M+ at 10 less g would work. The 915 S+ in regular felt much better and less than 2500 rpm. The M+ was close to 3000 and was ballooning. At the price of a new driver and not having success with your current, let a fitter that can combine a Doppler radar unit and the great outdoors to dial you into the correct loft and shaft for your maximal performance.
