  1. Hi TT'ers:

I have a 910 d3 driver for a couple years now and I tried changing the lie/loft with my surefit wrench, but I think I stripped the screw since I won't click into place anymore, no matter how much I turn it. I always hold it properly when changing it, I was surprised it stripped. Is there any way I can order a new screw through you guys? Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you,

    Patrick Livingston

    Patrick,

I'm not a fitter, nor expert.  The click comes from the wrench.  its basically a torque wrench that stops turning after so much tension is applied.  The screw itself might not be stripped.  Take it out and do a visual inspection and see if the threads are worn.  If it looks like a normal screw the threads will be even across all lines.

If it looks good then I think the shaft side could be the culprit of not making it lock.  Both screw and shaft should work smoothly by itself.  I think you can take off the driver head and manually screw the two (shaft end and screw) together for a better inspection.

Just a word of caution, if ever in doubt of your capabilities as a layman, seek expert advice.  Your clubs are an investment of you and your monies.  It will make you happy if taken cared of correctly.

    Good Luck
