Team Titleist help please!! End of last year i made the change from cally to Titleist, got myself the 915 range and 714irons and SM4 Wedges and to be honest it was the best thing ever!!! but i have 1 major problem,MY Driver, when i got fitted the pro was happy with the numbers so i went what he recommended but ever since i cant hit it,its the D2 MODEL with the 60 gram stock shaft and it gives me a low duck hook or high floater to the right!! its been trimmed to 44.5 inch,FW woods and hybrids are awsome, mid to high little draw.... ITS SO FRUSTRATING! So please do you have a answer for my problem? Thanks MarcoB

    Marco,

Awesome line-up of clubs, I wish I had them.

I think you should try and zero in your driver on the driving range.  Set it at A1 and look at your results.  You can find the adjustment chart on the driver web page and either print it out or write it down, and adjust accordingly.

I'm no expert, but Titleist seems to make it easy for a layman to try and adjust the clubs accordingly.  With sixteen settings it will be trial and error.  The main thing is to try and get a consistent swing to keep it down the fairway.

The adjustment wrench should have come with your driver.

    Good Luck

    Thanks Mark T.

We have a decent range at my course to try out a Driver,Ive gone thru every setting possible.

Im hitting the FW and Hybrids really solid(they have the same adjustment system as the driver) which

im hitting with a lite little draw or cut and solid ball flight(set on B1) but the driver does none of that. A pro reckons

its the shaft that is producing to much torque,so i was hoping a team titleist member could give the answer.

and Mark you have to get yourself at least the irons, honestly my iron game has never been this good, they are easy to hit :)

Marco, I gotta be honest here. That sounds like ME! In my case, I either crush it, or hit one of those two misses. My little golfing circle, all of which are near scratch, tell me they see a noticeable difference in my swing with the driver. For me, it's the "hit mentality" vs. the "swing" that I get with ALL my other clubs. I can't say you are having that issue, but look at it carefully. To me, that low hook or a high floater, are possibly from rushing that transition. When you square the club you get the hook, and when your hands are too quick you get the floater to the right...That's just my opinion, because I am very similar.

Just a thought, but if the shaft feels off to you (either too stiff or too soft), it can cause you to do screwy things with your swing.  It may be worth a second opinion on the fitting end.
