Alright so I'm trying to buy some new wedges. I currently play a Project X 6.0 PW shaft (36 and 3/8 inches) in my 56 degree club and it works great. I being on a budget that is already stretched thin I don't have the money for a shaft upgrade. I need to find something that works like the 6.0. I see that the shortest X100 shaft I can buy is 37 inches. I have read that is a 9 iron shaft. Is that true? I play my 60 degree at 36.25 inches, and I see your standard length for 60 degree clubs is 35. If I cut down the 37 inch X100 shaft to 36.25 and stick it in a 60 Degree SM5 will it play similar to the Project X 6.0?
