AP2 714 3-7/MB 714 8-P Combo

    Wondering what the correct way to spec doing a combo in AP2 714 3-P DG S300 and MB 714 8-P in terms of loft adjustments.  Obviously I'd want to weaken the AP2 set where needed to make the set blend.  Seems that at right around 6, 7 iron is where adjustments would need to be made.  If anyone has done this or wants to share their spec sheet, much appreciated.

    You're definitely on the right track. Your goal should be to get your desired distance gaps between each iron, especially where the break in the set from AP2 - MB may be depending on your swing style. Here are some recent specs of a similar combo set I fit down here in Houston.

    Iron:        4           5           6           7           8           9           P       

    Model:    AP2      AP2       AP2      CB        CB        CB        CB

    Loft:        25*       28*       31.5*      35*        39*        43*       47*

    Carry:    190       178       165        155        144       135      125

    It ended up being very close to 1* weak in AP2, Std loft in CB. Went just a touch weaker in the 6 iron to match the carry distance closer to the 7 iron distance where the transition was. Hope this helps!
