Hi - I am hoping someone here can help me out.   I received my 915 D4 9.5 degree the other day.  I love the feel of the club and it really does help to reduce the amount of spin.  But I am looking to get a little more out of it so I made the mistake of playing around with different shaft options.  At my club's demo day I was able to spend some time with the titleist guys to get fitted.

My specs are as follow - SS of 106, ball speed 150mph spin rate around 3500 rpm.  Need a low spin shaft so they fit me for the AD-DI6s tipped 1 inch.  Club set to C3 position

I had golfsmith put some titleist tips on a couple of shafts I had lieing around and so I had some specific questions on those-

    1. The club came stock with the Diamana White D+ 70.  I like it but don't love it.

    2. I had Graphite Design AD-DI 6s shaft tipped 1 in.  This is shaft is really taking the spin off of it but launching too high.  I feel like I am losing distance with it.  And I am definitely not getting as close to the numbers as I was on the trackman, even though this appears to the the exact same setup at I hit at demo day.

    3.  I put a tip on a Fujikura Speeder VC 6.2 TS and really like the way it feels but it plays too long.  I need to take an inch off of it.  What I am wondering is if Titleist tips the speeder when they install the adapter?  Since i definitely did not.  Will the shaft be affected if I remove 1 inch from the butt end?

And are there any other shafts I should be looking at?

    Thanks in advance.

I'd definitely continue work with the Speeder!  But I'd change your setting from C-3 to B-2 or C-2 if you like the upright lie setting.  I don't know the particular history of the tipping for the Speeder, but taking an inch off the butt end won't have any affect on stiffness.  But it may help contact!

  3. 1 inch off of the shaft will not affect the shaft stiffness. the shaft weight
