Vokey Wedge Experience

    There is a "Vokey Wedge Experience" occurring at a Golf Galaxy in The Woodlands (near Houston, TX) this weekend. I am currently gaming some Tour Trusty wedges and I am ready to make the jump to Vokeys.

    Does anyone have any experience attending one of these events? Is it just a marketing event, or will I be able to get fit for the correct bounce, grind, L/L/L in a set of wedges? I wasn't fit for my current wedges, and I don't want to duplicate that mistake...

    Who conducts these events? Titleist representatives or just the local Golf Galaxy staff?

    This is a late response, but if they can't book you for 30-60 minutes, it will be an experience.  My personal wedge fitting took close to an hour of one on one.  Happened to be with the Tour Van, but the local AFC would have set aside the same time.  If you can just show up, you'll get some great feedback from the Titleist rep on site, but not the one on one attention to start with your 8/9 iron and work your way through all the wedges for correct gaping.
