My club head speed is 89-94 spin rate is 3400 with a 10.5 Diamania blue 60,  what help can you give to get a lower spin rate to increase my distance. One fitter suggested buying a 9.5 and lowering it down to and 8.5 high launch shaft.

Low cost options include dialing the loft down to 9.75 and trying a lower spin/launch shaft like the D+ (whiteboard). The shaft will be something around $150. A new head will be a whole new club. My fitter cares as much for my pocketbook as me and got me the numbers we were looking for with just a 915 shaft on a 913 head. Besides spin, launch angle matters. Not how you started with a 10.5 but going to an 8.5 to just reduce spin sounds like an extreme change.

I agree that this switch can be costly, especially if it doesn't produce what you want. maybe you need to adjust the weights to reduce the spin Steve

I would have your fitter check your attack angle. If it is Negative attack then ry to increase it to positive. Example -3 attack angle adjusted to at least + 4 attack angle.

It will allow you to lower your spin rate and increase your carry distance.
