  1. I recently did some testing of the 716 AP2 with the UST Mamiya Recoil shaft. It was the Recoil 95. Here are my numbers on the 7 iron:

    Club Speed-79

    Ball Speed-115

    Launch Angle-17

    Azimuth-6

    Spin-6340

    Carry-164

    Total Distance-176

    Peak Height-31.5

For the past 4 generations of the AP2 line I have play with the Titleist Nippon NS Pro 105T shaft (113 grams). It's been a good all around shaft for me.  I really do like the Recoil shaft and am strongly considering going that direction. However, I am wondering if the Recoil 95 is a tad too light in weight. I am considering the Recoil 110.

My question, anyone have feedback on how my numbers would change going with the Recoil 110?  I know the additional weight would most likely lower the flight. Wondering how my numbers might be affected? And if any club fitter thinks the number should be different, anything out-of-wack (my technical term haha),  please let me know that too.

    Thanks!

Did you get numbers on your 914 7 iron? Better or worse? How did it feel? How was the dispersion?
  3. Numbers were a bit different from the 714 to 716. But it had more to do with the feel. Quite a difference between the Nippon steel and the Recoil.

My basic question has to do with how much changes come into play going from a Recoil 95 to a Recoil 110? What could I expect going to the heavier shaft?
