what would the cost be to have Titleist change out my 714 S300 Sensicore shafts to R300?
JAM
I am interested in purchasing the 716 MB's, and am wondering if I can order with an "A" flex, high launch steel shaft. I am playing the 710 MB's with NS Pro 970 soft R shaft, but want more flex. I am 72 years old. I have all "A" flex shafts in my 910 driver, fairway and hybrids. I am not interested in going graphite. Thank you. JAM

Hi James, You can interchange any iron shaft that we offer with any of our iron heads. We do offer a NS pro 970 L flex ladies steel shaft which is slightly softer and will launch higher than the A flex. We don't have any other steel shaft that we offer in a softer flex than the A flex.
Hi Cathi, thanks for the quick response. I am unable to locate the NS pro 970 L flex steel shaft on your web page. Can you provide the specific swing weight? Also, do you mean the L flex ladies steel shaft is an A flex? And can you clarify what you meant when you said it will launch higher than an A flex? This shaft may meet my objective. Thank you Cathi, James
I submitted the above request on November 3rd and did not receive a response. I would greatly appreciate being advised of the swing weight, torque and trajectory on the NS Pro 970 ladies flex steel shaft. Thanks Cathi, James A, M

Thanks Cathi for the above info. To answer your question I would order the shafts one half inch short, 3 degrees flat with a standard mens grip. Just two other items: 1). I would appreciate it if you could provide the torque for the NS Pro 970 ladies steel shaft and 2). Do you offer an A (senior) flex mens steel shaft as an alternative? Thank you for your patience Cathi, James A. M
Hi James, The soft R flex that you are currently using is also known as the A flex and/or senior flex so the only shaft that is softer, that will launch higher is the L or ladies flex. The torque is around 2.6.
On swingweight - if you are cutting ti 1/2" short of men's standard, the target swingweight on a set of 716 MB's with a standard grip at standard size would be C6 +/- 1. As far as bending 3 flat, it can be done, but it is outside of our tolerance and will only be done with the acknowledgment that a slight crinkling of the chrome could possibly occur and would not be covered under warranty.
Thanks Cathi, you have been most helpful. It looks like the TT XP 95 soft R is the better choice since I will order PW-5 irons one degree weak and the 3 and 4 irons two degrees weak. What do you think?. James A. M
