  1. Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help?

last year I got fitted by titleist at kings acre to ap2 714 with Nippon pro 950gh stiff shafts, because it was so close to the 716's to be released I decided to wait on them, I recently went to American golf to get fitted for the ap2 716's but they never had a Nippon shaft, he fitted me for a true temper xp90 s300 the results were pretty good but I would like some one to tell me the difference in shafts if any before I place my order, The only reason I never went back to kings acre is because it's a 2 hour drive for me, any help would be much appreciated

    kind regards

    Darren

Hi Darren, I would go with the shafts fitted for you at Kings Acre, Nippon are more expensive but in my experience have a much better feel, the type of steel used is more elastic if that makes sense. The guys there know the Titleist club set up much better. However, the shafts you mention are pretty similar in their dynamics.

There is currently to charge to upgrade to Nippon no pro 950 shafts.
Just got mine. Love that shaft and so do many others.
