My current driver is a 910 with a Diamana Blue 65 gram, regular flex shaft. My SS is mid-80's. I want a higher trajectory than current. I tested a 915 D2 with a Diamana Red 50 gram, reg. flex shaft yesterday. It felt very smooth and stable at impact. A little higher swing speed and more distance. Trajectory though was very high. The fitter did not have the Blue in a 50 gram for me to try. Anyone know if this shaft would be similar to the Red with a little less trajectory???

John - You can look up the shafts that "fit" between the S+ and M+ shafts. I'd suggest having the fitter check with the concierges to loan from their supply of shafts for you to finish your fitting. Take a look at the Rip Phenom 50 g in R flex, as well. The R-flex 569 Speeder is a good choice, but is an upcharge by comparison.

My fitter is in process of getting both shafts mentioned for me to try out. I've hit the 569 before and really liked it. Taking time to get it right rather than fast. Thanks!

I have been through the same process. I found a chart in the Titleist Gear Catalog that show that launch and spin characteristics for all the shafts Titleist sells. After finding the shafts with the characteristics, then I looked at the specs for each shaft. What I found is that on many shafts higher launch also results in more shaft torque (i.e. twisting). I found that when torque is high then the shot dispersion was too wide. Hope this isn't to technical. It is best to work with a Fitter on this.

The chart I am referring to is called the Shaft Performance Guide. There is a link for it on each club model page. Just scroll down to the Customization portion and you'll find the link there.

Really like the red shaft. High is good, as long as it isn't a popup or a skied shot from hitting down with a driver. Hit up on the driver, that is what trackman says.

Don't like the feel nor trajectory of the blue shaft. Very hard feeling compared with the red. Need to make this game easier and more fun, not hard and difficult.

BTW, my swing speed is 84. HDCP 3.
