    I just want to say I went to see Roger Hatcher at 1757 Golf Club a few weeks ago. I scheduled an iron fitting with him and it was an awesome experience! He spent about two hours with me in the studio there. Roger was great. He explained everything that I didn't understand, he didn't give me a BS answer. The facility they have at 1757 is first rate. High tech launch monitors w/ flat screens to see and understand ball flight, speed, club plane, etc, were incorporated into the fitting. When after hitting a few different clubs and my swing got a little out of wack we even had a short lesson to get me back on track Thanks again Roger and if you are in the Washington DC area and are looking for a great club fitting experience, head over to 1757 and see Roger. I'll certainly make the trek from Frederick, MD back there for a woods and wedge fitting. Can't wait to pick up my new 716 AP1s!!

    About three years ago after recovering from quadruple heart by-pass surgery, I drove all the way to the 1757 Golf Club for a fitting with Roger (I work at Fort Detrick in Frederick and live in Gaithersburg). I initially wanted to be fit for Titleist woods/hybrid, 912 AP2 irons and Vokey wedges. After the 910D3 woods fitting, I tried the AP2s without much success. Roger then suggested that I try his personal 912 CBs irons. I hit them like no iron before (or since). We completed the fittings (3 hours total though Roger only charged me for 2 hours) and Roger ordered them all for me. I am happy to say that I upgraded to the 915D2 woods last year and to the 916 CBs just recently. I concur with Brian B that the 1757 golf Club facility is amazing including the use of the open range to see the actual ball flight. I highly recommend anyone in the D.C. area looking for an expert club fitter to go see Roger.....I'm glad I did (and now I have a full bag of Titleist clubs).
