I currently play the 915 D3 head and the Diamana D+ Whiteboard 70 S shaft. Recently, I tried out the same set up but the shaft was a 1/2 inch shorter. I liked the feel and the trackman numbers were good.

My questions are these: If I were to order an additional shaft, 1/2 inch shorter, would it change the swing weight of my current driver? Would I need an additional head weight, the blue one?

Also, If I were to cut down my current shaft, should I assume it would be cut off the butt end? When Titleist sends a shaft that is 1/2 inch shorter, is the cut from the butt or tip?

Just wanting to match my current weight/setup with the a potential 1/2 inch shorter shaft.
