  1. I just recently order a set of 716 AP1's from Golfsmith. In testing the iron I was paying attention to the lie angle which is important to me. On your web site a 7 iron AP1 is standard at 63 degrees and progresses through the set. I was fitted for a .50" longer shaft. My question is when placing the order at the counter it was coming up with a standard lie of 62 degrees not 63 degrees as the Titleist web site. Is this because of the longer shaft? Also on my order form it has a 62 degrees lie though out the entire set, should it not progress like it does on the Titleist web site? I just loved the way this club felt and preformed and want it to be right so I can play my best golf.

Hi, We would recommend calling Golfsmith and checking with them as you are correct - the standard lie angle on a 7 iron is 63° and it is different for each iron. You can also contact your fitter to double check those specs as well.
  3. thank you Cathi , I will be contacting Golfsmith.
