Andrew, after being fitted at the Scotty Cameron Studio, the most important thing I learned is that it's not which Cameron putter one uses, it's "how" they use it. Putter choice is completely up to you. Your game will improve if you take the necessary steps for improvement. Stance, fundamentals, stroke and most importantly practice. Confidence that comes with implementing all these things. Keep up the great work and enjoy!

I just purchased the new Futura X7. I currently play the Newport 2 myself. I have a square to square putting stroke. With my newport I struggle mostly with lag putting and distance control when it comes to longer putts 15ft and longer. I'm looking forward to practicing with the X7 on my practice green at home and at the club until I'm comfortable putting it into play. I agree with the gentlemen above, fundamentals and a substantial amount of practice to get the "feel" for it in order to build confidence is absolutely necessary. Best of luck in your journey!
