Hey guys! I have a quick question regarding lead tape. I have a set of 712 AP2s; I just got my lie angle and lofts bent back to where they were originally when I first bought them(+2 lie angle) Now after getting everything reworked I am hitting more of a draw than I ever have. I have a tendency to get quick and over all just have a fast swing. I was wondering if I changed the swing weight with some lead tape if that would help slow the club head down and in turn allow it to stay open longer. It seems like everywhere you look someone has a opinion on this topic. I thought it would be best to come here and see what the general consensus is.

Good question. The +2 lie angle will promote draws so assuming your clubs were off your swing probably adjusted. As for the lead tape I have tried it and just wasn't a fan but I also know good players who have clubs that look like DeChambeau's and love them.
  3. get yourself fitted for clubs. There is also other ways to increase swing weight other than lead tape. if you get quick slow yourself down. Nice smooth tempo is all you need. If you want to stay open longer position your hands in front of the ball and if you dont want to draw it rotate your bottom hand to the right a tad assuming youre right handed
