  1. I currently have ap1 716 which I was fitted for with the xp95 reg which I draw the ball a lot. I was fitted And are 2 degrees up +1/2. Not comfortable with them. Last night I hit a used set of 714 ap2 stiff dgs300 7 iron swing speed is 82mph a lot straighter but spin was high 4000's. Not sure what to do here get refitted. I also like the feel of ap2 over ap1

  2. I was fitted for a set of ap2 irons (4-pw) and I absolutely love them. If you hit them right they feel amazing but if u hit the bad they will let you know. I wouldn't trade for any other set of irons in the world

get refitted and try out the 716 ap2... I switched from ap1 714 and love the new ap2716
  4. If you draw it too much then 2 degrees upright might be too much. Also when you gothink fitted did you tell him you wanted a higher ball flight? The XP shafts are high ball flight shafts
  5. The high ball flight is good my spin numbers were good with the xp90 r300 in the ap1. My fitter said I'm in between a stiff and reg flex shaft. My swing speed has been increasing as I progress and get better. 7i distance is 157 and 82mph club head speed. I don't want to spend another 1000 on irons and need stiff shafts. The dg s300 was to heavy for me. Launch was low and spin was 4900 I found a set of 714ap2's on global golf for a good price. With xp95 s300. Will xp95 spin more? I know they launch higher. Don't want to spend 716 price and 714 felt better.
  6. My situation was a bit like yours. Swing speed 82-83. DG probably to heavy. Ended up with XP 90 stiff. Ever since been wondering if XP95/105 would have been better.
I love the AP2 because of feel and control. BUT I do loose quite some distance!
  7. I ended up finding new 714 ap2 with xp95 s300 I do lose some distance wondering if I should just play them and grow into them. This is the start of my fourth season playing and my swing speed has been increasing. Love the feel of them. Wonder if I should have got regular flex.
  8. I was fitted for a set of ap2 irons (4-pw) and I absolutely love them. If you hit them right they feel amazing but if u hit the bad they will let you know. I wouldn't trade for any other set of irons in the world

You didn't say who the club fitter was. Did you go to a qualified Titleist club fitter ? Who ever you went to, blew it. It sounds like they put you in a set of clubs that do not meet your swing specifics. Take the clubs and go to a qualified Titleist club fitter and see what they say.
