KBS Tour X in Wedges

    Hi there,

    I was fitted for a KBS Tour X soft stepped once, seeking more weight to feel the clubhead more and get spin / max heigth down. I am now wondering what to do with my 54 and 58.

    - keep same shaft throughout set? -- too stiff, as I do not play full shots with those wedges? - soft step twice? -- same weight; same feel? more responsive, more spin? - KBS Wedge in X -- same feel, but less spin?

    I would consider something that is the same weight or heavier weight for the shaft, as far as the flex I would consider something the same flex or softer since you are typically not making full swings with your wedges.

    Just some thoughts that Bob Vokey conveyed to me the last time I did a fitting...

    Ok, thanks for the info! So when staying within X to keep the weight constant, soft stepping twice would do the trick for half shots etc?
